Hello and thanks for stopping by today! It’s no secret that the look of ombre stamping is hugely popular. Day 6 of Technique Week is a technique to create a rainbow! I did a live video on my FaceBook page earlier this week, focusing on creating rainbow ombre stamping, and together we checked out a few ways to build colors. Be sure to check out the video link below and tune in to my FaceBook business page each Wednesday at 10:30 am eastern for a chance to craft on the spot!

Love You to Pieces with Stamparatus
My stamping life has been forever changed with the use of my favorite stamping tool: the Stamparatus.
When stamping with Stamparatus, if I don’t get a good contact between paper and stamp, I can add more ink and have the items still in the same exact position. Big time helper! Building on the theory of keeping the stamp and paper in the same position… it’s also a wonderful assist in creating an ombre stamped image.
While the paper is secured in the Stamparatus, I am able to add ink to the stamp in bit by bit. Today’s technique features markers onto a red rubber stamp, adding color in increments to the paper. To soften the edge of the ink and help the colors fade into one another, I use a damp cloth, an Aqua Painter or a cotton swab.
