Hello and thanks for stopping by today! With all of the new wonderful stamps now available in the 2018 Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog, it’s easy for me to grab for them and forget some of my favorites. Dragonfly Dreams stamp set has a timeless look that also conveys a sense of elegance to accompany the new Delightfully Detailed laser-cut paper. It’s too easy to run out to the drug store and pay $8.00 for a pre-made card, and the fact that I really enjoy making a card that fits a particular person means a lot to me and to who will receive it as well.

Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut paper
A Designer Series Paper that fits any occasion- yes, please!
Delightfully Detailed Laser-cut paper is like lace, well sort of. The intricate detail of these images is amazing. There is a pattern of continuous florals that is 12″ x 12″ plus some “framed” type panels that are pre-sized to fit a card. On the side of the latter sheet is a strip of several border lace trims. It’s this set of images I am drawn to in a feature for today’s project.
Cutting away just one of these strips to use only a portion in my card, I can see this paper really filling in many purposes and goinf a long way in my craft supplies. To give a high contrast, I placed a scrap of Basic Black card stock behind the lace panel and it really makes the daisy images come to life, don’t you think? Building on this simple black & white design, I added a pretty sentiment and a few dragonfly die cuts to bring the eye around the project.
