Hello and thanks for stopping by today! This week the What Will You Stamp design team are stamping with Enjoy Life stamp set. Beautifully drawn sayings and images you can style any way you choose. To accent the sentiment, I was inspired in stamping an Enjoy Life watercolor wash card. It’s an unusual size too, which add to the fun!

Silhouette images are really striking when stamped as part of a handmade card. It’s a wonderful opportunity to pair with an easy watercolor wash. The evening color combination is enhanced with the Silver Foil paper used as a layer for the watercolor panel. All coloring and stamping is done on the smooth side of the paper, as it’s an easy way to get a better stamped image.
Creating a watercolor wash gives a beautiful result. Working on the smooth side of the paper, I like to pick up diluted color and add it to the paper while squeezing the barrel of the Aqua Painter. Letting the colors flow into one another helps give a natural transition to the colors too. Just like an evening sunset! Be sure the wash is completely dry before adding the stamping, as it will smear if it’s still the least bit damp. I popped the panel in my Stamparatus to assure I got a nice and solid stamped line.
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase.
Having more ways to create a focal point on your project can make a project work for you. I hope you like this project and will come back to visit often! Thanks for stopping by today.
