Hello and thanks for stopping by today! What do a bear, raccoon, rabbit and squirrel have in common? They are all ready to party and itching to be watercolored! We Must Celebrate is so much fun to stamp with. I want to explore what possibilities I can come up with this stamp set so I created a Shadow Box card from one of Bronwyn’s amazing tutorials at AddINKtive Designs.

We Must Celebrate stamp set
Fancy fold cards are not always a giant undertaking but they can be intimidating. Here is how I approach each project; the finished card will fit into a standard envelope, so…… it can’t be too big a project for me to tackle. Putting it into perspective is a big help. Plus, Bronwyn’s tutorials are really easy to follow, step by step and loads of photos.
I had a vision of this card in my mind for weeks. From the colors I used and the dies. I worked at it in stages, first doing all the coloring and then fussy cutting. Each time, with smiles and grins because We Must Celebrate stamp set is wonderful 🙂 .
Tips for this project
This shadow box card design is perfect when I want to send a card that will be more than a card. Extremely sturdy and standing on it’s own, it really makes a statement.
The We Must Celebrate critters are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Watercolor paper, then colored with Watercolor Pencils. Once the penciling is melted with an Aqua Painter, the images are fussy cut and attached to the box section of the card.
The background paper is created with the stamp pads and Sponge Daubers.
Detailed Floral Thinlits gave a nice look of texture while keeping with the forest theme.
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase.
Having more ways to create a focal point on your project can make a project work for you. I hope you like this project and will come back to visit often! Thanks for stopping by today.
