Hello and thanks for stopping by to check out today’s new papercraft project. This week the WWYS Challenge is stamping with Making Every Day Bright stamp set. Cute holiday characters with catchy that all coordinate with one single punch. I chose to feature the cute penguin image in rainbow progression. I had loads of fun choosing the colors for the hats!!

Adding a rainbow theme
I love stamping in rainbow color, don’t you? The least likely of places I expected to add a rainbow was in the hats on a set of penguins! But I’m very pleased with how ROYBIV was able to lend a hand in the coloring 😉
The penguin image from Making Every Day Bright is just one of the great images to choose from. In fact, it seems like Stampin’ Up!® has covered nearly every holiday with this stamp set. I’m loving the possibilities! This is one stamp set that will get loads of mileage here in my studio and I hope you plan to grab one for yourself. An added bonus is there is another stamp set that coordinates with the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch- Making Christmas Bright stamp set. That’s double duty for one tool and a great savings toward crafting supplies.
After the penguins were stamped, I used the small hat stamp to add color to each little guys hat. Color and shading was added to each penguin’s body with Stampin’ Blends markers. Very easy! To give a bit of depth to the background, a sponge dauber with Balmy Blue stamp pad and a light touch gives the wintery feel.
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase.
Having more ways to create a focal point on your project can make a project work for you. I hope you like this project and will come back to visit often! Thanks for stopping by today.
