Hello and thanks for stopping by to check out today’s new papercraft project. I have the pleasure to share a project today created by fellow Stampin’ Up!(r) Demonstrator Sandra Strassweg. Sandra lives in Germany and her website can be found here: .  I really like her amazing designs, fun photographic settings and color choices. Each new project she shares is another “ah-ha!: moment that I see her talents. I’m very thankful to Sandra for allowing me to share her projects and do hop you will visit her blog for more inspiration.

First Frost projects by Sandra Strassweg

For my project I used the First Frost Bundle. I decided to make a box and a card.

The box is made with the coordinating Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper, which has a very nice shimmer. To close the Origamishutter I used a paper straw. I cut out several branches from Gray Granite and Powder Pink cardstock and arranged them behind the circle.

The size of my card is 14 cm x 14 cm ( 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″) and the colours I used for the branches are Gray Granite, Tranquil Tide and Pear Pizzazz. I cut out a circle and stamped the image with Gray Granite ink. To get more dimension I adhered the white paper with Foam Adhesive Strips. I glued the branches around the cut out. First I planned to put the branches all around the circle, but finally I decided to do just the half. The petals from the set are stamped in Gray Granite and Powder Pink. For the last touch I added some sprinkles with a golden Wink of Stella.

I hope you like my project. Many thanks to Jenny for the opportunity to show you my ideas.
