Cool Treats Sentiment card with Video for #WWYS125

Cool Treats Sentiment

For today’s project, I am bringing attention to a different way to build a focal point for a card project using Cool Treats sentiment and the 2″ Circle Punch. This week at the What Will You Stamp challenge, we are stamping with Col Treats stamp set. Be sure to go over to the page and check out all of the Design Team’s cards this week and if you are up to a challenge…. add a photo of your card as well!

Cool Treats sentiment

This stamp set has some really great sentiments! Nice, large words that can be featured in many ways are always a plus in my crafting. I decided not to make a typical popsicle card but instead to feature Cool Treats sentiment in a different way. Stamped in black, against pretty pastel colors, the words fit great into the 2″ Circle Punch and can now be used in a different manner.

2″ Circle Punch

Punching out circles is easily overlooked and highly underrated.  Using circle in design can lend balance and interest to your project. The Whole Lot of Lovely DSP is gorgeous and using this design allows me to use more than one pattern at a time. To break up the monopoly of circles (lol), Silver Mini Sequin Trim, in similar circular patterns are a great compliment. Have you tried this Trim? Oh, I am really in love with it and will be using it more and more. Get yours in my Online Store while it’s in stock!

For a visual demonstration on how I created the punched daisy, check out the video demonstration link below.
