Happiness Surrounds stamp set
My project today is representative of all of the new starts we have in life. New babies, new adventures, new friendships, a new journey… there are so many ways to celebrate. The Happiness Surrounds stamp set is just one of the two special stamp sets offered in the Snowflake Showcase promotion. I have one project photo down below featuring a wintery look with Snow is Glistening but my main feature today will be with Happiness Surrounds.
It’s amazing how easily this stamp set can transfigure from adapting with snowflakes to florals. Creating with florals is very close to my heart and these colors are just amazing! After stamping out the images, I used green and orange Stampin’ Blends markers to enhance the colors. Here is how I created this project step by step…
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1: Create and score the card base. Then create the two white cardstock panels. Use adhesive to attach the smaller panel to the larger, then set aside.
Step 2: On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, stamp 4 of the large six-pointed striped image with Old Olive and 4 of the smaller six-pointed solid image with Crushed Curry. With Old Olive Stampin’ Blends markers, add enhanced color to the large green images. With Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends markers, add enhanced color to the small yellow images.
Step 3: Die cut all of the stamped images with coordinating die from the Snowfall Thinlits with your Big Shot die cutting machine. With additional Whisper White scrap, die cut 4 of the six-pointed lace image.
Step 4: Arrange the florals onto the Whisper White unit in the manner you desire, then stamp the greeting with Old Olive stamp pad. Now it’s time to adhere the florals in place with liquid glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals. Once secure, adhere this unit to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Step 5: The inside of the card uses a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of Whisper White cardstock with the line of florals stamped in Crushed Curry, then glued into place. This is now a great time to select your embellishments! How about sequins?
