Hello and thanks for stopping by to check out today’s new papercraft project. New in the Annual catalog is the Beautiful Promenade Bundle. I used this beautiful new stamp and die set to create a Beautiful Promenade Flower Pot Easel card. Fancy folds are always a wow card, aren’t they? It makes it extra special when I send them to someone to brighten their day. I hope you like this Beautiful Promenade Flower Pot Easel card.
I love creating for AddINKtive Designs and have modified a tutorial, and have written a new one, for creating a Flower Pot Easel card. CLICK here to be taken to the tutorial shop at AddINKtive Designs.

Beautiful Promenade stamp set
Fancy fold cards are not always a giant undertaking but they can be intimidating. Here is how I approach each project; the finished card will fit into a standard envelope, so…… it can’t be too big a project for me to tackle. Putting it into perspective is a big help. Plus, Bronwyn’s tutorials are really easy to follow, step by step and loads of photos.
The idea of having a flower pot sit in front of a window always brings me a smile. With this card design, I can send a smile to the recipient! THe Beautiful Promenade Bundle is perfect for an easel card. I used two different DSP packs for the design as well; Tranquil Textures as the background behind the pot gives the soft green tone without distracting from the flowers. The pot and inside of the card are cut from Petal Promenade DSP pack. This pack of paper has a nice balance of texture and florals.
Once the card is closed, it lies flat and the florals come away from the card to reveal a secret message!
Tips for this project
This Petal Promenade Flower Pot Easel card design is perfect when I want to send a card that will be more than a card. Extremely sturdy and standing on it’s own, it really makes a statement.
The floral images are stamped on the Stamparatus and match the Petal Promenade DSP on the card base. That means all the colors match!
The die cut doily holds the die cut florals and slips in and out of the flower pot opening easily.
