This week the Stamp Ink Paper Design Team are sharing projects with the theme of gratitude. I find that a simple thank you is really appreciated. Here is a clean and simple gratitude card featuring the Painted Glass stamp set and special vellum paper.

Clean and Simple Gratitude

Thank you is such a simple phrase but when it is drawn in this gorgeous font… wowzers! Adding color to the vellum designer paper was really a nice way for me to add my own touch to this project. The bird is colored to match the glass as well! Here are instructions to complete this project.

Step by Step Instructions:

  1. Begin by creating the card base. Score at the 5 1/2″ mark and crease the fold with a bone folder.
  2. Locate the circle image in the Graceful Glass Designer Vellum pack. Cut away one section, forming a circle. With Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers, color the image as shown in the photo. Adhere the vellum to the white cardstock layer with SNAIL adhesive, placing it under the area that will be covered by the sentiment.
  3. Stamp the sentiment onto the strip and adhere it over the vellum with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  4. Stamp and color the bird image, then die cut and adhere directly to the sentiment, half on and half off.
  5. Place two lengths of Black Cord along the edge of the sentiment, securing the ends to the back side of the panel with SNAIL.
  6. Adhere the panel unit to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
