With a mini catalog, or seasonal catalog, I tend to first lean to the occasions that will come up on my calendar first, rather than farther away. With the end of summer in close sight, I’m already creating for Fall. This amazing owl image from the Night Owl Thinlits Dies set is not only quick and easy… it’s a beauty.
Brusho Technique (for the moon)
One of the really great things about having a technique at hand is being able to customize the design for a new project.
I’ve used Brusho in several different ways so far but never in combination with Glossy White paper and rubbing alcohol. In a recent FaceBook Live video I explored a few ways to combine alcohol and inks/powdered inks with this fun Glossy paper and had fun and unique results. Be sure to watch the video (link below) for the demonstration of these techniques.
After creating several panels, I settled on the one you see in this project. First sprinkling on the Brusho and being generous with the powder, directly onto the Glossy cardstock. Then I used the Stampin’ Spritzer filled with standard Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, I used the fine mist to spray the Brusho and watch it melt into the alcohol and give these fun results on the paper.
Here is a list of participants in the Blog Hop, I encourage you to visit all of the amazing projects
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase.
Having more ways to create a focal point on your project can make a project work for you. I hope you like this project and will come back to visit often! Thanks for stopping by today.
