Hello and thanks for stopping by to check out today’s new papercraft project. New in the 2018 Stampin’ Up!® Holiday catalog is the Cauldron Bubble Bundle. I used this fun new stamp and die set to create a Halloween Double Z Fold card. Fancy folds are always a wow card, aren’t they? It makes it extra special when I send them to someone to brighten their day. I hope you like this fun Halloween project, perfect for a Halloween clebration.
I always have fun creating for AddINKtive Designs as well and have modified a tutorial for creating a Layering Circles Double Z Fold box card. CLICK here to be taken to the tutorial shop at AddINKtive Designs.

Cauldron Bubble Bundle
Fancy fold cards are not always a giant undertaking but they can be intimidating. Here is how I approach each project; the finished card will fit into a standard envelope, so…… it can’t be too big a project for me to tackle. Putting it into perspective is a big help. Plus, Bronwyn’s tutorials are really easy to follow, step by step and loads of photos.
The idea for this project came from the pumpkins. As soon as I saw this gorgeous stack of pumpkins, I knew they would need to be popped into this fancy fold style card. The color contrast in this project lends itself easily as focal points because the die cuts stand out on the project. So, with a few die cuts and the Cauldron Bubble stamp set, it’s a quick project.
Once the card is closed, it lies flat in an envelope!
Tips for this project
This Halloween Double Z Fold card design is perfect when I want to send a card that will be more than a card. Extremely sturdy and standing on it’s own, it really makes a statement.
The die cut spider web in both the foreground and background are created with Sparkle Glimmer Paper. After die cut, I adhered them directly to the card.
The witch , frog and pumpkin stack are fussy cut but the cat is cut with a framelit.
