Hello and thanks for stopping by to check out today’s new papercraft project. New in the upcoming Stampin’ Up!® Holiday catalog is the Cauldron Bubble Bundle. I used this fun new stamp and die set to create a Layering Circles Double Z fold box card. Fancy folds are always a wow card, aren’t they? It makes it extra special when I send them to someone to brighten their day. I hope you like this project where I combined the Cauldron Bubble Bundle with this fold to create a Cauldron Bubble Double Z Fold box card.

Fancy fold cards are not always a giant undertaking but they can be intimidating. Here is how I approach each project; the finished card will fit into a standard envelope, so…… it can’t be too big a project for me to tackle. Putting it into perspective is a big help. Plus, Bronwyn’s tutorials are really easy to follow, step by step and loads of photos.
The idea for this project came from the Toil & Trouble DSP pack. As soon as I saw the little kitty and the broom, I knew she would need to sit with her frog friend in this fancy fold style card. The bright colors in this paper pack lend themselves easily as focal points because the Cauldron Framelits dies cut out most of the images on the paper. So, with a few die cuts of the Toil & Trouble DSP, it’s a quick project.
Once the card is closed, it lies flat and fits perfectly in a standard A2 size envelope!
Tips for this project
This Cauldron Bubble Double Z Fold box card design is perfect when I want to send a card that will be more than a card. Extremely sturdy and standing on it’s own, it really makes a statement.
The yellow stars are created by using the stars die from Cauldron Framelits dies on Basic Black cardstock. This allows the Pineapple Punch cardstock to show through the black to illuminate the stars.
The cauldron sitting in the box fold area is adhered to be free standing and does not crumple when the card folds flat.
Here is a direct link to the tutorial I followed, but changed the dies used, theme and coloring. CLICK HERE
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase.

Having more ways to create a focal point on your project can make a project work for you. I hope you like this project and will come back to visit often! Thanks for stopping by today.
