Hello and thanks for stopping by to check out today’s new papercraft project. Available on August 1st, as a limited time only release, is the Blended Seasons Bundle and is part of the Color Your Season promotion. I used this beautiful new stamp and die set to create a Color Your Season Double Z Fold box card. Fancy folds are always a wow card, aren’t they? It makes it extra special when I send them to someone to brighten their day. I hope you like this Color Your Season Double Z Fold box card.

Blended Seasons stamp set
Fancy fold cards are not always a giant undertaking but they can be intimidating. Here is how I approach each project; the finished card will fit into a standard envelope, so…… it can’t be too big a project for me to tackle. Putting it into perspective is a big help. Plus, Bronwyn’s tutorials are really easy to follow, step by step and loads of photos.
The idea of coloring these summer flowers brings me a smile. With this card design, I can send a smile to the recipient! The Blended Seasons stamp set is perfect for all year cardmaking and papercrafts. I used the Stitched Seasons dies for the design as well; the gorgeous shape and double stitching of these dies gives the project character without distracting from the flowers. By turning the stamp in a different direction on the watercolor die cut panel, if helps the florals not look like the same stamped images on the opposite panel.
Once the card is closed, it lies flat and fits perfectly in a standard A2 size envelope!
Tips for this project
This Color Your Season Double Z Fold box card design is perfect when I want to send a card that will be more than a card. Extremely sturdy and standing on it’s own, it really makes a statement.
The floral images are stamped in Soft Sea Foam to give a “no-line watercolor” look.
The die cut branch that sits in the box section is cut from Champagne Foil to give a little sparkle.
