Hello and thanks for stopping by today! Do you have special photos that are sitting and waiting to be scrapbooked? I certainly do! Every season brings me more special memories to record. For today’s project, I am participating in the July Scrapbook Sunday blog hop. Many other crafters and I have linked our blog posts together to enable readers to “hop” from one project to another. Most of our projects will feature a fun layout and theme as well, in hopes of giving lots of ideas for you to craft.

A Favorite Photo
Often I will have a great photo of one of the kids that I’d like to scrapbook but today it’s a bit different. The photo I chose to record in my scrapbooking album is of my husband and I, shortly after we were engaged to be married We we very happy to be planning our future and spent an evening at a nearby lake, which for us now is a wonderful memory.
Building on the lake theme, I chose to give the look of water to the design by adding diluted Balmy Blue ink on a page base of Shimmery White card stock. This type of paper is thick enough to hold water in small amounts.. so I can choose to cut down the page to an alternate page size. Memories & More pocket pages are a great size to create a manageable scrapbook page. If you shy away from scrapbooking due to the size and space of the project- fear not! There is always a “work-around”. The sentiment is stamped with the new stamp set- Lined Alphabet. Perfect to build any word I need. And I think I hit the work right for this project. It was a memorable day.
