Hello and thanks for stopping by today! Today is the June Stampin’ Friends Blog Hop, featuring projects made with a common Summer theme. Summer is a busy time in our home and I like to have a gift package and coordinating card on hand. When creating a project and a card that I’d like to coordinate, I usually tie the project together with colors or a common theme. Having the precise coordination of a gift set is a personal touch I include into my giving.
June Stampin Friends Blog Hop
measurements for this project
Kraft Pillow Box +
Die cut oval
Crumb Cake card stock card base: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Whisper White card stock panel: 4″ x 5 1/4″
Crumb Cake card stock strip: 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Die cut circle
Sweet Storybook stamp set
Throwing together a quick project is easy when I can coordinate the colors. I had in mind to use Sweet Storybook stamp set and the new Kraft Pillow Boxes. Keeping the colors neutral I had a simple color scheme in mind to help the project compliment one another. Pulling a few die cuts from my scrap bin, things started to come together.
I used the Stamparatus to mask the mouse image and help with the two step stamping and the new Polka Dot Tulle ribbon is a great coordinating detail to bring both projects together.
