Hello and welcome! Do you like the look of ombre stamping? I’d like to share my new favorite color combo with you for today’s project. Mixing colors in a project always sparks my creativity and when I find a combination that appeals to my creativity, I tend to want to use it as much as I can, lol. Mint Macaron is a returning color and Soft Sea Foam is a new color and together they really compliment each other’s highlight and shadow. Paired with Rooted in Nature for a nature theme and it’s an all night stamping party with no end in sight!

Nature’s Poem + Subtle Ombre Stamping
A nice appreciation is growing in me for this leaf image from the Rooted in Nature stamp set. Very elegant lines that leave behind a delicately stamped image are appealing and can be used in so many projects. I am beginning to plan out the teacher gifts for end of school year and this stamp set is really winning the race. As if the images are not great enough on their own, I gave them a subtle ombre stamping look by using the rock and roll technique.
To get this look, first ink up the image in the lightest shade of ink (Soft Sea Foam) and then roll the edge of the stamp along the darker stamp pad. Thus the name of this fun technique.
