Hello and thanks for stopping by today! Every new Annual Catalog from Stampin’ Up! brings all sorts of wonderful stuff. Of the items I was able to pre-order, I’m loving the new product. Available for purchase on TODAY is the Serene Garden bundle. I did a live video on my FaceBook page earlier this week and together we checked out a few ways to feature these new products. Be sure to check out the video link below and tune in to my FaceBook business page each Wednesday at 10:30 am eastern for a chance to craft on the spot!

Serene Garden stamp set
So many new things are happening at the moment. With today’s catalog launch, Stampin Up is offering some really great 10% off Bundles of products. The Serene Garden Bundle is really a fantastic set of stamps & dies and I know you will really like them. When breaking in a new product, I often take just small elements of the stamp set or patterned paper and work them into a simple project. Already I have gotten requests to demonstrate how these new products will work together.
Today’s project is just that… a play with Serene Garden and how we can take a small area of the large stamped image and feature it as a focal point. I fell in love with this stamp set at first sight and in fact, am finding all sorts of ideas and techniques for featuring the images. This card is kept simple in order to allow the florals to take the focal point. It’s an easy to assemble card and can handle nearly any color for the images. Once the leaves and flowers were colored, I chose to fussy cut them and attach the “buttercup” image as part of the vine. The stamped sentiment is borrowed from Abstract Impressions stamp set, as I can not resist this sentiment!
