Sometimes all it takes is one little piece of paper to inspire a project. I’m a fan of creating with patterned paper and this lovely piece made me imagine a trellis fo r the flowers to grow. What better way to create a trellis then with the brand new Delightfully Detailed laser-cur paper? I have just the right color of ribbon to use too, the brand new Rich Razzleberry velvet ribbon. I have a trellis and a flower idea, now to get the two into a project.

Delightfully Detailed Laser-cut Specialty Paper

Delicate and beautiful, this paper is amazing on any project. When taking a look at this design, I thought it would look great in gold and then took a step further and actually embossed it in gold! I first placed the paper on a piece of printer paper, to protect my work surface. Taking the VersaMark ink pad direct to paper, I dabbed it all over the coated paper before adding the embossing powder and melting with the Heat Tool. The flowers are fussy cut and placed in what looks like a vase. The Everyday Label Punch makes a nice looking planter by trimming off the bottom section of paper.
