Climbing Orchid stamp set
Classic styled images ready to color, Climbing Orchid is a beauty to behold and an absolute dream to craft with.
With an entire rainbow of color to choose from, I chose the new Lovely Lipstick 2018 In Color for the flower petals. The flower image from Climbing Orchid is stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder on watercolor paper, then colored in with an Aqua Painter. The coloring is kept to the tip and base of the petals, to keep the integrity of the white space on the paper. Keeping some white areas will lend a more natural look to the project.
The simple background is created with the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder. The clean lines allow the flowers to really take over the focal point.
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase
Having more ways to create a focal point on your project can make a project work for you. I hope you like this project and will come back to visit often! Thanks for stopping by today.
