Hello and thanks for stopping by today! This week has been exciting and busy in my little corner of the world. As my business has grown (and I’m very thankful that it’s going great!), my husband and I have planned to move my craft area from a shared office (with hubby), to a studio all my own. Having the ability to start planning a craft room from the ground up is a wonderful experience. I work on a small budget but have still been able to get the look and storage I had in mind.
Each week I will be sharing more photos from the process and bring you all in on the journey. We started with clearing out what was our children’s nursery. It’s a very small room in our home but is just right for housing my business and creative studio. One of the first things we did was to paint the room. Getting started was exciting and in the middle of painting, I used one of the unpainted walls to add my own scribble. We actually painted over this but it’s a nice thought to know I have it written under a few layers of paint!
Hubby did a good amount of the work and his paint job looks awesome!
I will share more progress next week, with the storage units and furniture going in. It’s not fancy but it’s my own space 🙂
The boys and I being silly. Nate lost his 2nd tooth this week but as with the first tooth… he swallowed it. I’m determined to get the next one! I have all of Trip’s lost baby teeth and would like to save Nate’s as well but it’s a different kind search, lol. Trip has lost both of his front top teeth now and Nate has lost both of his front bottom. We are a motley bunch!
Lilypad Lake Bundle
Over the course of the week, I’ve featured several ideas using Lilypad Lake Bundle. Check out the three totally different looks achieved with this one bundle! It’s a must have in my opinion and will make a great resource to any craft supplies. Lilypad Lake is available on June 1st in my online Stampin Up store. Can’t wait for it?? Get it in your Starter kit now.
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase
Having more ways to create a focal point on your project can make a project work for you. I hope you like this project and will come back to visit often! Thanks for stopping by today.
