Hello and thanks for stopping by today! Today is the May OSAT Blog Hop, with the theme of “On the Red Carpet”. Some of our members are choosing to “go glam” for their project and others are “premiering new products”. Below are links to all of the blogs in this Hop, showing loads of papercraft ideas. I have chosen to create a card with Lilypad Lake Silhouette. So much fun!
Lilypad Lake Silhouette card
Whisper White card stock card base: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Whisper White card stock layer: 4″ x 5 1/4″
Glossy White Paper panel: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Basic Black & Whisper White card stock scraps
Lilypad Lake Bundle
Oh my! This is a beautiful bundle. Loads of beautiful stamps, die cuts, ideas…. it’s all there. When getting a first look at this product, I imagined this very card in my mind. And I can tell you it was easy to create! The grass and crane image are die cut from Basic Black card stock and adhered to an easy to create background.
All that’s missing is a lighthouse to set up a shore scene or moss covered trees to create a beautiful lake front. Starting with Glossy White paper and a sponge brayer, I added ink from stamp pads over an image stamped in VersaMark clear sticky ink. No embossing powder is needed, simply allow the VersaMark to dry before adding color.
