Hello and thanks for stopping by today! As the 2017 Annual Catalog is winding down, I am really enjoying the well loved papers and products I work with. Just Add Color DSP has been my hands down favorite paper because of it’s versatility. Today’s project is watercolored but I have also previously featured watercolor pencils, Stampin Blends alcohol markers and even a sponge brayer. By far, I enjoy watercoloring most of all.

Just Add Color DSP
I chose to color the feathers in this lively color combination. Selecting only three feathers was not easy, let me tell you! I settled on these three because of their relative size to one another. Working with this paper I tend to keep the fluid to a minimum as not to damage the top layer but it does take well to the color.
Floral Phrases stamp set
A brilliantly craft sentiment is something to cherish. The fonts in Floral Phrases stamp set are superb to pair with the images that come with it in the set or as I have done in this project, feature with something entirely different. Heat embossed in white on Basic Gray card stock, the words are really able to stand out and grab the spotlight. Featured in and around the feathers and sentiment are a few die cut circles. I used both the Stitched Shapes dies and the Layering Circles to work together for this look.
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase
