Hello and thanks for stopping by today! Every new Annual Catalog from Stampin’ Up! brings all sorts of wonderful stuff. Of the items I was able to pre-order, I think the Sea of Textures Bundle is the most fun. I did a live video on my facebook page earlier this week and together we checked out one way to feature these new products. Be sure to check out the video link below and tune in to my facebook business page each Wednesday at 10:30 am eastern for a chance to craft on the spot!

Sea of Textures Bundle
So many new things are happening at the moment. With the upcoming catalog, Stampin Up is offering some really great Bundles of products. The Sea of Textures Bundle is really a fantastic set of stamps & dies and I know you will really like them. My boys are in love with them! When breaking in a new product, I often take just small elements of the stamp set or patterned paper and work them into a simple project. Already I have gotten requests to demonstrate how these new products will work with coloring tools.
Today’s project is just that… a practice with coloring and how to use this wonderful DSP. I used tone on tone colors on this card and in my weekly Facebook Live video, we tried a few other methods as well. Adding coordinating colors to DSP is always easy with Stampin Up because it’s created that way… everything matches! I stamped with Tranquil Tide onto the DSP to make the octopus seem to be lurking, they do lurk don’t they? The to add more camouflage I added bronze embossed seaweed and die cut coral. Wink of Stella on the octopus also gives it a fun sparkle.
