Hello and thanks for stopping by today! Today is the April Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop, featuring projects made with our favorite tools. Inspiration comes from the most unlikely of places but today I’m creating one of my favorite flowers. Orchids are all beautiful and come in many varieties, so it’s easy to add any color combo and get good results.

Climbing Orchid Bundle
This month’s March Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop was a great opportunity for me to ink up this gorgeous stamp set. Seems like this type of stamp is one that folks either love it or they hate it. Layering stamps can be challenging to say the least but with having a great tool makes all the difference! Using the Stamparatus makes lining up the images so easy.
Creating a design with this image required me to add some color and interest to the project, without too many focal points. The Tree Rings background stamp set is a nice distraction from the orchid but doesn’t rake away it’s focal point. I used the Stamparatus to get a great stamped image with this very large stamp.
Lining up a layered stamp through a clear acrylic block is not always easy for me. I think my eyeglasses cause a slight distortion and I just can’t see to get it right. But… I don’t get any problems while using the Stamparatus! Not at all! So I chose a fun color combination for the flowers and give some tips in the video demonstration. Be sure to check it out in the links below.
