Hello and thanks for stopping by today! Today is the April Stampin’ Friends Blog Hop, featuring projects made with a common theme of Spring. Spring flowers are something I like to feature around my home and crafting them into a piece of framed art is not only fun to create, but nice to see 🙂
Spring Theme frame
measurements for this project
Area inside the frame:
Whole Lot of Lovely DSP: 5″ x 7″
Fussy cut flowers from Whole Lot of Lovely & scrap of Soft Suede card stock for leaf punch
Whole Lot of Lovely DSP
Decorating an ordinary frame is as simple as find the right piece of pretty paper. Whole Lot of Lovely DSP is one of my favorites from the Annual Catalog and it will soon be retired. I chose a piece of neutral patterned paper that would look nice in the frame and fussy cut some of the coordinating flowers. For a little contrast, I used the Leaf Punch with a scrap of Soft Suede card stock.
When adding the stamped sentiment, I really wanted it to stamp out well. I popped the paper into my Stamparatus and stamped and re-stamped the image until it was nice and bold. Perfect solution for getting the image to stand out!
Here is a list of participants in the Blog Hop, I encourage you to visit all of the amazing projects
