Hello and thanks for stopping by today! Do you have special photos that are sitting and waiting to be scrapbooked? I certainly do! Every holiday season brings me more special memories to record. For today’s project, I am participating in the February Scrapbook Sunday blog hop. Many other crafters and I have linked our blog posts together to enable readers to “hop” from one project to another. Most of our projects will feature the same color design as well, in hopes of giving lots of ideas for you to craft.

Sweet Soiree DSP
My project started with a photo of my son and I, sitting on the steps of our back porch in the early evening. It’s a sweet photo so my thoughts went over to the new Sweet Soiree Bundle. The photo has a bit of “blue light” that is naturally occurring in the evening light, and this type of color will not work with all colors to create a pleasing overall project. Adding in the hints of blue from the berries in the DSP and the blue strip, it helped the blue tinted photo not look out of place. Adding cool tones of pinks and gray carry the color theme as well.
The theme we are creating with this month is “love”. My big boy and I love to share hugs and this mom will take as many hugs as I can, for as long as my baby will give them 🙂
