Epic Celebrations stamp set
Dude, this stamp set is awesome! It’s perfect for my husband, who being a child of the 80’s, really loves hair bands and those guitar riffs. Not really my thing, but I can appreciate that is appeals to him. This card was inspired by my sweet hubby and those crazy colored shiny guitars he is so fond of. To pair with Epic Celebrations, I stamped the Sheet Music stamp set a few times. Once on the guitar and again as part of the background.
How to heat emboss on Window Sheet
Creating the background of this project was my favorite part. Using the same colors of Stampin Blends markers (Bermuda Bay) I added streaks of color. The idea was to recreate those spiked lines that correspond with music when viewed on an equalizer. They look pretty neat, what do you think? This area is topped with a piece of Window Sheet plastic that I added stamped heat embossing. I’ve been advised before that we can not heat emboss on this type of surface but today I am “breakin the law” on this rule! (Couldn’t resist that pun in reference to a hard rock song, lol) I treated the area as usual and stamped before adding powder. The only thing I did different was to melt the powder with a properly heated tool and keep the heat gun moving.
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase
Having more ways to create a focal point on your project can make a project work for you. I hope you like this project and will come back to visit often! Thanks for stopping by today.
