Have you stamped these amazing bows? Two-step stamping is not always easy to line up and get a great image. This stamp set is a bit different, as it’s very easy to line up the stamps and get that 3D looking image. The sentiments are also a favorite! Beautiful scripts that I have been using on so many non-birthday cards too.
Ink Smooshing for a background
This card did not begin with planning to create an ink smooshed background. It was a train going down the track and headed for a train wreck! What do you do to change the design and take the project to a place that makes you happy with the result?
Ink smooshing is a go-to for my projects so I ditched the background I was using and grabbed the watercolor paper. Applying some ink from the stamp pad to a silicone craft mat and spritzing it with water is quick and easy. Dip the paper in the diluted fluid and there you have it. It’s a natural looking background that can enhance a few pretty stamped bows.
