Graceful Garden Brusho card | with Video

Hello and thanks for stopping by today! Do you ever come up against a technique, feel defeated, only to look at it with more determination? Last week’s card for the WWYS Challenge was using Brusho with not much success. I immediately tried another approach but this time with a Graceful Garden Brusho card. And yes, there is a video as well 🙂

Brusho is not the enemy after all! I think I much prefer to use it in a natural way and not with a paintbrush. For this project, the image is embossed onto watercolor paper first, then the Brusho is applied. For a visual demonstration of this project, be sure to click on the video links below.

Partial Die Cut Rectangle

The Stitched Shapes Framelits are great in cardmaking. There is not a rectangle in the set but one can be created with the largest square die. Start off by placing the square die on the card stock but do not lay the top cutting plate over the entire die. I left the bottom line uncovered, and thus it did not cut the paper. Now, just slide that die down the paper, secure in place and repeat the process with leaving the top portion uncovered and there is now a rectangle.
