Bird Banter masculine card for Paper Adventures Guest Designer

Hello and thanks for stopping by today! My good friend Kelly Kent has invited me today to be the Guest Designer for her team of amazing Papercraft Adventures in a fun blog hop. We will have one common theme to our projects, and it’s creating a masculine card. I often hear that ideas come slow for making cards to share with a guy so this is a fantastic chance to get some fresh ideas. Be sure to hop all to all of the stampers’s blogs for inspiration in your own crafting.

Bird Banter stamp set

I have had so much fun making bird cards with Bird Banter. For a new idea that will work for a masculine card, I imagined wood paper, of course it will always lend itself to a masculine look. This little bird is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with a few Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers.

Badges & Banners stamp set

Badges & Banners stamp set is one of the most unusual stamp sets I have worked with. Ever! That’s not a bad thing, it’s very unique in of itself. After settling on a hand colored bird, a setting must be set for the design. A bird cage works just right. The top of the cage has just a wee bit of Linen Thread to not leave it suspended in mid air, lol, and keeps with the masculine elements.
