Hello and thanks for stopping by today! This recent project has taught me the beauty and the beast of Pieces & Patterns stamp set. Loads of images that can be set up in patterns or as single images… too many possibilities! This story starts as making one dinosaur card and evolving into a field of flowers 🙂

I’m playing along with the What Will You Stamp Challenge this week, as we all stamp with the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set. Please come over and add your Beautiful Bouquet card by CLICKING HERE to visit now.

This is the initial card I creates. It’s my first practice with Brusho Crystal Color. But like the word practice emits, it was a yucky, ugly mess. The background turned funky and the dinosaurs were not pleasing either. Brusho does take some getting used to! In the end, I changed up the background color and added more color variation to the dinos. It’s not a terrible card but it’s not what I wanted to share today.
The Beauty of Pieces & Patterns
Back to square one and walking away from the Brusho 🙂
Creating a field of flowers have been on my mind so why not put this little beauty to good use? The flowers were embossed in gold onto watercolor paper, and then I used stamp pads to watercolor the images. Simple… and safe.
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase
Having more ways to create a focal point on your project can make a project work for you. I hope you like this project and will come back to visit often! Thanks for stopping by today.
