Grateful Thankful Blessed Card
This week at the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge, there is a theme challenge! A theme challenge is a fantastic opportunity to insert your personal style into a pre-set design. Create a card with the theme of Grate Thankful Blessed from any products you wish while following the idea of a pre set theme. Be sure to go over to the page and check out all of the Design Team’s cards this week and if you are up to a challenge…. add a photo of your card as well!
Grateful Thankful Blessed Theme Challenge
Not throwing good things in the trash bin
Have you participated in this type of challenge? It so much fun! The SIP Design Team never fails to impress me with their fantastic card creations. With this type of challenge, the creativity level is incredible!
Watercolor smooshing is a go-to for me, a you well know. I recently used part of a panel with Lemon Lime Twist smooshed into it and just could not throw away the rest! It has been in a safe place until this project! Rescued from desolation (kinda dramatic, I know) now it has served another purpose in today’s card project. With just enough color to not overpower the blues in this project, the watercolor smooshed panel yielded most of the die cuts in this card. Yay for upcycling!
Hues of blues
The die cuts are an essential part of this project but it is the colors that make it special to me. Blues and brown are a favorite color combo and adding in just the little bit of green allows that Lemon Lime Twist to stand out.
