Halloween Chocolate Holder
Today I am happy to bring you a project I recently completed for AddINKtive Designs, by the wonderfully talented, Bronwyn Eastley. Following one of Bronwyn’s tutorials, I have had a fun time making this Halloween Chocolate or Peanut Butter Cup Holder. The tutorial instructions are clear and concise, which really was a help in zipping through this project. I chose to use the tutorial for creating this project with Spooky Cat stamp set and Spooky Night DSP.

Chocolate Holder or maybe a Peanut Butter Cup!
One of my favorite things about creating with an AddINKtive Designs tutorial is the flexibility I have in customizing the project. Changing the colors to suit the personalized project is part of the fun of creating a Halloween Chocolate Holder. I’ve added some personal touches, such as changing the theme of the project, to make it just from me.
This is an interactive treat holder. The front flap actually opens up to reveal a tasty treat! The twine is attached under the DSP, which is stationary on the front flap. My kids really had fun with this project and YES, I did need to hide the candy! It will work very nice for student and teacher gifts this month.
Here are a few unique touches
For the theme and atmosphere of the project, I used Spooky Cat stamp set. A stamped owl is a nice addition to the look of the tree! The owl owl also carries the sentiment, which is a cool look to a treat holder.
Inside the treat holder is more Spooky Night DSP. This project works really well to use coordinating patterned paper in different shades. The twine also fits in well with the Halloween theme.
