Watercolor Sunset for Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop
Today I am pleased to participate in the Ink & Inspiration Design Team Blog Hop. We are all featuring watercolor card ideas. I have chosen to use Lovely as a Tree stamp set, Just Add Text stamp set, Stampin’ Write Markers + watercolor paper to get the look even a guy will like. It’s a watercolor sunset that’s easy to duplicate with success!
Scroll down for the list of blogs featured in this hop. Be sure to visit as many of the design team member’s projects as you can for more great ideas!

Using Stampin’ Write Markers on Watercolor Paper
To start a project that may seem to be complicated or daunting, let’s break it down into a few easy steps.
No. 1 Choose the colors in your sunset from amongst your available markers
No. 2 Scribble color in horizontal lines (left to right) to fill up the watercolor paper with color
No. 3 Spritz or mist water onto the paper to activate the ink and watch the colors blend into a sunset
Repeat this process as many times as you need in order to get the intensity of color that you desire. Remember to allow your paper to dry in between applications of ink. A heat tool on the low setting is a great way to speed along the process. Once your panel is complete, trim it to the desired size and stamp tree and sentiment images in Basic Black Archival Ink.
I have created a video tutorial for this project. Click here to watch or watch below
