Scrapbook Page using Embossing Paste with Video

Scrapbooking Sundays

Scrapbooking is a way to tell a visual story, versus a cardmaking project that we send to someone we care about. Many cardmaking supplies cross over into scrapbooking and vice versa, so it’s a natural progression to work in both mediums. Today I will feature a scrapbook page using embossing paste.

During the month of July, I will feature a scrapbook page design every Sunday. If you like this series, please be sure to comment on this blog post and I will keep the series going indefinitely.

Pattern Party Decorative Masks and Embossing paste = FUN!

By adding a few drops of color from an ink refill bottle, plain embossing paste transforms into a lovely complement to the colors in your project. With four mask/stencils to choose from in the pack, I used the large medallion to help feature brilliant earth tones in the color design. After allowing about a half hour drying time, items can be placed on top of the dried paste area using your favorite adhesive.

By using a few different Patterned Papers, I die cut some accessories that would compliment the large medallion and not steal from it’s attention. This keeps with and carries the theme throughout the project. For a closer look at constructing the page, check out the instructional video at the links below to my YouTube Channel.

    • Hello, Gail! I’m glad you have stopped over today. I’m in the same boat with needing to get crackin on scrapbooking. I hope you are able to visit every Sunday, as I now feature a SB page every week on making scrapbooks. Every other week is 12×12, alternating with Pocket Page style. I find that kids LOVE the Pocket Page style of the Memories & More product line. In next week’s video/tutorial, I will show how my kids like to get involved using those style of pages. Thanks for your comment and for stopping by 🙂 -Jenny
