Tic Tac Toe Design card for #SIP107 Challenge

Tic Tac Toe card

During the month of July I am excited to have been invited to be the Guest Designer at Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge. This week at the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge, we are playing Tic Tac Toe. It’s a cardmaking game! Be sure to go over to the page and check out all of the Design Team’s cards this week and if you are up to a challenge…. add a photo of your card as well!

Tic Tac Toe Challenge

With eight options to choose from, it can either get crazy fun or a bit daunting to choose which design will fit your need. I chose to create a card with Blue, a Die Cut and Twine. This type of challenge can lead to new creative ideas and a chance to use craft supply combinations in new ways.

Cut away die cuts

Lovely Words Thinlits dies are new in the Annual Catalog and are an innovative way to feature die cuts in a project. When the die cuts away the paper, the words are left suspended on the paper. There is an option to snip the words away and feature them on a card front or to leave them attached to the paper as I have demonstrated here. There is now a peek through area to either see the inside of the card or place a paper backing with a contrast color. This is an opportunity to show a sort of special effect, like a bit of watercoloring or a similar stamp and some flicks from a Wink of Stella pen.
