Daisy Delight card for #WWYS124 with video

Daisy Delight & Daisy Punch

For today’s project, I am bringing attention to a different way to build a focal point for a card project using the Daisy Punch. This week at the What Will You Stamp challenge, we are stamping with Daisy Delight stamp set. Be sure to go over to the page and check out all of the Design Team’s cards this week and if you are up to a challenge…. add a photo of your card as well!

Daisy Punch see through window

To create the daisy image, I punched the daisy on Thick Whisper White card stock. Place the punched out daisy right back on the card but rotate the image to fit between the negative space. The plain punched image will now help form curved petals on the card front! Place a scrap of Delightful Daisy DSP behind this area and you can choose what color your daisy will be. It’s a unique look that adds plenty of detail to the card without a lot of work.

Daisy Delight

Daisy Delight stamp set is packed full of beautiful floral images and as you can see from the photos, I did not create a typical daisy card. The sentiment stamps do lend themselves to a more artistic look when in the proper setting. Such a versatile stamp set to have in your stampin stash!

For a visual demonstration on how I created the punched daisy, check out the video demonstration link below.
