Happy Birthday Gorgeous card for #WWYS123 with Video

Happy Birthday Gorgeous

For today’s project, I am bringing attention to a different way to build a landscape scene with Glossy White card stock. This week at the What Will You Stamp challenge, we are stamping with Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set. Be sure to go over to the page and check out all of the Design Team’s cards this week and if you are up to a challenge…. add a photo of your card as well!

Working with Glossy Paper

To create this cool landscape scene, I first started out with a piece of Glossy White paper, a stack of paper towels, a Stampin Spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol and a few Ink Refills ( aka re-inkers). After dripping a moderate amount of ink onto the paper, it is misted with the alcohol and the color bleed begins. This is a lot of fun to watch, as it gives instant results. Be sure to allow the paper ample time to dry before adding stamped images.

Happy Birthday Gorgeous

Seaside Shore stamp set is packed full of beautiful floral images and as you can see from the photos, I did not create a typical birthday card. These stamps do lend themselves to a more artistic look when in the proper setting. Such a versatile stamp set to have in your stampin stash!

For a visual demonstration on how I created the background, check out the video demonstration link below.
