Masculine Cards Solved!

Masculine cards solved! by using an easy design. Using techniques can help in making a success of your handmade card. There are so many ways to use our stamp pads and patterned paper, that it can get over complicated very easy. If you have ever wanted to create a background with a special look, then I hope you like this card. For today’s project, I am bringing attention to a different way to create an interesting background. This week at the What Will You Stamp challenge, we are stamping with Urban District stamp set. Be sure to go over to the page and check out all of the Design Team’s cards this week and if you are up to a challenge…. add a photo of your card as well!

Masculine Cards Solved!

To create a masculine look, I chose to use a piece of Wood Textures DSP in the background. The look of natural wood is not limited to guy cards but it can set the tone for an easy design for the receiver of your card. Keeping the color combos natural will keep the design in the same avenue.

Spotlight a design

Urban District stamp set is the perfect tool for making a card destined for your grandfather , father or spouse. The large letters take up a great portion of the card and help to bring the message to the forefront. Versatility with the visual letters and the sentiments is the best asset about Urban District and a good tool to keep on hand.
