Stamped lace accents using Delicate Details with video

I have been asked recently to demonstrate a way to use the Sale-A-Bration stamp set; Delicate Details. This stamp set is available to you for FREE with a $50 product purchase through March 31st. The stamp set has images of strips of lace in different sizes and styles. They are nice to look at but how will you use them?  Mary, this one is for you 🙂

Measurements for this project are:

Sahara Sand card stock for front: 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
Falling in Love DSP layer: 3 5/8″ x 3 5/8″
Very Vanilla layer: 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
Sahara Sand card base is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ (folded & scored from 4 1/4″ x 11″)

Recently I shared a series of card projects using the masking technique. Let’s take the basic concept of masking and use it with this nice lace image. I want the lace to stamp only under the card stock, so by using a few sticky notes, I can help the image to lay only where I intend.

For a visual demonstration of this project, take a look at the video I made for this project.

The center portion of the card was made by using the cluster of dragonflies, die cut onto a card stock panel. I popped the die cut back in the negative space and secured it on the back side with washi tape. Now I can let the pretty Falling in Love DSP show through! There is no sentiment for this card, I can leave it as a blank note card or stamp something nice when the need arises.

I made a video tutorial for this card project, CLICK HERE TO WATCH or watch below:

Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase 🙂

Getting new stamps is fun but figuring out which way you want to use them is the fun part for me. How will you use the lace stamp? I would love to see what you are crafting. If you would like to share a photo of your card, email it to me at [email protected]   Can’t wait to see your creations!
