Suite Seasons pines card with video for #WWYS089
Today I am pleased to bring you a project that I made as a Guest Designer for What Will You Stamp. I am thrilled to share in this card making challenge and want to take this opportunity to thank the Design Team for allowing me to participate. The stamp set of this week’s challenge is Suite Seasons by Stampin’ Up!, that is featured in the 2016 Holiday Catalog. I invite you all to go over to the blog and view the complete gallery of cards from the Design Team. They have done some great work! CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE SITE
For this card, I chose to work with the sentiment that has a small pine branch and to incorporate the Christmas Pines stamp set into the design. These two sets were a match made for each other 🙂 I stamped onto a white cardstock with subtle colors to give a depth to the overall effect of the design. The vellum overlay allows the sentiment to be the focal point and not let the layer of stamping underneath take over the design.
I used Copper heat embossing to help the sentiment be the central focus of the card. Adding a small bow and a few sequins helps to bring the background images around the card. Overall, it is a simple card with a simple concept. I had fun making this card and I hope you will as well.
I made a video tutorial for this card project, CLICK HERE TO WATCH or watch below…

JOIN THE SWAP!!
As Demonstrators prepare for OnStage in November, we will all be busily making “swap” cards. For those unable to go to OnStage, they do not get to experience the swap on a large scale. If you would like to participate in an “Across the Miles Swap”, please contact me to sign up. Here is how it will work: You will need to sign up to participate by November 15th. Once we close off the sign up date, I will contact you to let you know how many cards to make for swap. You will get back as many as you send in. If you want to swap one card, then sign up to send in one card. If you want to swap with all particiants, I will let you know how many to make and that’s how many you will send in and get back. This is a great way to share your work with others and to see what everyone else is doing. I do not anticipate this swap to go too big but if it does then I will break us into groups so as not to have everyone make a ton of cards. Are you ready to join the swap? You have until Nov 15th to sign up. Let’s make it together! (open to demos and non-demos)
Are you interested in purchasing one of the finished cards I have featured on a blog post? Visit my Etsy shop at www.jennystampsup.etsy.com for a small selection. If the card you are looking for is not there, drop me a note and I will place it in the shop for you. -Jenny xoxo
