Harvest basket with punch art along with a video for #PCGC024

“Giving thanks for the blessing of you” is the sentiment on today’s card. Basket of Wishes is a stamp set with many baskets and fillers, that will work nicely all year long. Today I have created a Fall themed card with the large basket and chose the gourds as the filler.

I did the coloring of the stamped image with my classic Stampin Pads and a blender pen. Stampin’ Up! sells them in packs or three and they are a very reasonable price. Using a blender pen is a great alternative to Copic markers or watercoloring and it’s a great way to stretch your current craft supplies.

Featured also on the card is a pumpkin made from punch art. I chose to make the pumpkin a variety of white, in keeping with the overall color scheme. The pumpkin itself is made from Layering Oval Framelits, I used the smallest ovals in the set. The stem is made from the Tree Builder punch and the leaves are made with the Fox Builder punch. The Paper Chain Gang Challenge this week is for punch art. I can’t wait to see what you all create!
