Have you ever been at a loss for how to use a stamp set? I have used this stamp set, Mr Funny Bones, a few times now and I think I’ve exhausted my idea bank for this one. When this happens, I usually fall back on a great method of making a card… copy the card that is featured in the catalog. After all, it was designed by a professional artist and uses a number of products that are usually at hand. The idea of CASE, which stands for Copy And Share Everything floats freely in the crafting industry. Copying a card will allow you as a crafter, to create a project with no pressure on the design end.
I like this card’s design because it is simple to recreate. The stamping was easy and the paper cutting uncomplicated. Yet, I still got to pull out the scissors to fussy cut the banner and pierce holes to string the twine for hanging. It was a fun project to make and I hope you like it too.
The skeleton was stamped bone by bone, meaning that the stamp set allows the crafter to piece it together with individual bone images. I made the head tilt to the side and was able to place the hand images where they looked to be holding up the sentiment.
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this project:
