Simple Baptism card using a die cut

I love making cards for happy occasions! We have an occasion to need a card for a Baptism, and I designed a quick card that would be simple enough not to “over-do” the special day.

I used the layering ovals dies to cut away the paper twice; once as a standard straight cut on the white card stock and again with the scallop die on the taupe paper. It created a unique frame for me to frame the images.

I added color to the stamp directly using markers and then went back over sections with sparkly gell pens. The background area was created with a sponge and ink.

Here is a list of supplies I used in making this card. The stamp set I used is “Blessed By God” from Stampin’ Up! and is now retired.

Thank you for joining me for another card creation. I’m glad we could make it together 🙂
