Random Acts of Kindness Themed card for GDP055

This week, the Global Design Project’s theme challenge is “Random Acts of Kindness”. Kindness is a simple act, so I decided to make a simple card.  #GDP055

I started with a single layer card base of Thick Whisper White cardstock. This cardstock will hold up nicely on it’s own. Using the group of trees image from Thoughtful Branches, I stamped trees and branches, and then muddled the ink together with a water brush.

To ground the scene, I used a piece of metallic washi tape and attached the sentiment as a banner. A small length of Linen Thread adds an earthy touch with the drops of glue that look like water drops.

Here is a supply list for the items I used in making this card.

Thanks for stopping by to view my card today. I encourage you to make a card inspired by an act of kindness toward you and send it to someone, and give them a smile. Let’s make it together.
