Halloween Card for Global Design Project #GDP054

The challenge this week from the Global Design Project is a sketch. I like sketch challenges because it tasks me to make a style of card that I normally may not make. This design, with banners, will be easy to manage and allow me to be really creative.

A few days ago I received my Paper Pumpkin box in the mail. Having the elements from the kit on my mind is how I chose my card design.

I used the supplies from the kit, only adding paper for the card and sequins for sparkle. Everything else was from the kit. I will feature a video tutorial this coming Friday on my September Paper Pumpkin Alternative & Tutorial, but for now, here is the card.

I like how the sequins bring life to the colors and carry the eye around the entire card.  They keep the little kitty company 🙂

Here is a supply list for this card, MINUS the September 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit supplies. This kit is available for purchase NOW by clicking here

Thanks for checking out my card! Please hop over to the Global Design Project’s page to see all of the entries for this challenge. I hope you come back again soon for more card ideas, videos and crafty inspiration.
