Barnyard Babies Christmas Party

There’s a party on the farm! Barnyard Babies is such a great set of images and I really like to sit and just color them. I’ve had an idea floating around for a few days now, that I would use the reindeer horns from Foxy Friends and put them on these little animals like a costume. After finishing them off with Santa hats and shiny red noses, they are ready to celebrate Christmas in their own way.

I used Copic markers to color in all of the animals and then I fussy cut them with my handy-dandy small scissors. The card layers are kept simple, with the background stamp, Hardwood, providing the red barn look. I distressed up the red paper after stamping, to give this a weathered barn look. I also stacked three die cut trees together in order to give a look of dimension. The little red noses were cut out from the Perfect Pines die that looks like little tiny tree ornaments and I made them shiny by using Glossy Accents. I wanted this to be a funny card and give a little chuckle to the one that receives it for Christmas.

Here is a list of supplies that I used to make this card:

Thanks for stopping by the farm today for a peek inside the little red barn! I really enjoyed sitting down to color the images in this card and I hope you like it too. Have a great day, mooooo!
