Star of Wonder Challenge card for Paper Chain Gang #PCG019

This week the Paper Chain Challenge #PCG019 has tasked us to copy a card from an active Stampin’ Up! catalog. Being as I am doing a lot of work on holiday cards lately, I chose the catalog picture that inspired me to want to use the set, Star of Light. Both the stamps and dies are, in my opinion, fantastic.

I like the soft colors the designers used as well as the inventive use of die cuts. They even snuck in a bit of embossing! I feel that this card, and especially when I copy an existing card, is a real jumping off point to generating your own ideas on how to use a product. Imagine changing out the colors for darker themes and I can imagine a very dramatic effect.

Here is a supply list, just click on the picture to be taken directly to the shop for item information. If you make a purchase, please list me as your demonstrator and use the current host code to allow me to send you a thank you. I appreciate your support!
