2016 Holiday Catalog Sneak peek of Paisleys & Posies

We continue with another sneak peek from the 2016 Holiday Catalog with Paisleys & Posies (page 46). This suite of products has a lot to choose from, and I can only bring you a limited number of cards… gasps for air… so I’m starting this suite with a super easy card.

I chose two major items to feature in this card: The Pretty Paisleys Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF) (item# 141833), the Paisleys & Posies stamp set (item# 142196) and for a bonus: the 3/8″ Ribbon Trio Pack (item# 142021).

One fun and beautiful feature of these coordinating products is the Copper theme. The Autumn colors are great to work with in the Petals & Paisleys Specialty DSP (item# 142017) with 2 pages of paper containing copper foil highlights. I chose a non-assuming piece of paper for this card in order to let the copper embossing be a focal point with the embossed cardstock. The ribbon comes in Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron (as featured in the picture) and Rich Razzleberry.

This embossing folder will be an excellent way to make a card that is appropriate for male or female and pair it with the copper features and it’s a winner. Copper is a more masculine metal and when make use of it’s properties, you can get a manly card with little effort.

Here are the items I used in making this card:
Paisleys & Posies photopolymer stamps item# 142196 is available on September 1st
Petals & Paisleys Specialty DSP item# 142017 is available on Sep 1st
3/8″ Ribbon Trio Pack item# 142021 (I used Dijon on my card) is available Sep 1st
Pretty Paisleys TIEF item# 141833 is available Sep 1st

Getting to work with the new products from the Holiday Catalog has given me so many more creative ideas for their use. The only problem is in me remembering what I want to do with them! I hope you are getting some great ideas for making your choices for the new Holiday Catalog. If I can help you in making any purchasing decision, please do feel free to drop me a line. I am happy to help.

Looking forward to making it together this Autumn!
